Hailing from Worcestershire in the UK, The Capital have made giant steps in such short time together.
Formed in March 2006 they have wasted no time in compiling a collection of superb tunes. Their song-writing prowess seemingly gains momentum with each song they create. They achieve that modern UK vibe, being a 3-piece, leaving plenty of room for dynamics to flow through every one of their tracks.
Since their latest visit to the studio, they now have a sound that is very radio friendly. The new tunes feature superb musicianship, with upbeat lively riffs and great melodies that will immediately leave you whistling, humming, and singing them.
John (guitar / vocals), Dan (drummer) & Rooney (bass) set up the bands Myspace account a few months ago and ever since they uploaded their latest songs, the website has received hit after hit. A big break could be just around the corner, as their tunes are on a showcase CD that will be arriving on the desks of every major Hollywood TV & Film Exec in November.
The Capital has performed live on a number of radio stations and they are shortly beginning a tour of Colleges and Universities in the UK.
